ARTIST STATEMENT
As a self-taught artist, I see myself as a projector of impulses. My art is an invitation to explore the hidden layers of life and the self. Like a psychologist, I present images and leave their interpretation entirely to the viewer. To avoid influencing this process, I choose not to disclose detailed information about myself & my career, and my way of working / artistic techniques. In my art, only the work itself and the viewer's reactions to it are of importance. This approach is an essential part of my artistic work and identity, serving to goal of placing the viewers reactions and internal world in the foreground.
My artistic vision is deeply influenced by the psychology of Carl Gustav Jung, particularly his spiritual theories and perspectives. At its core, my work subtly addresses the resolution of inner conflicts that arise from the tension between past influences and societal expectations on one side, and our authentic desires, hopes, and longings on the other. As a counterforce, I integrate metaphysical concepts into my art, rooted in the belief that they can aid in transforming these inner conflicts.
Through my art, I aspire to promote a philosophy of life that values our inner world above the often harsh three-dimensional reality—a way of living that prioritizes feelings, desires, dreams, and intuition over rationality, materialism, and intellectualism.
